Horseback Riding in Cappadocia: Essential Tips for First-Time Riders Horseback riding in Cappadocia is one of the most magical experiences you can have — riding through fairy chimneys, valleys, and unique landscapes while hot air balloons rise in the sky. Many of our guests are riding a horse for the very first time, which is why these safety and riding tips are especially important. 1. Reins and Control The reins should not be too long or too short. If too long, you may lose control; if too short, the horse will feel uncomfortable. Remember: the other end of the rein is in the horse’s mouth. Pull firmly but not suddenly, and loosen the reins once the horse stops. 2.
